Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2020 to all our wonderful readers!
It’s a joy to write this blog, when we know that quite a few people read our stories. Although this blog began as a way to document our journey, so the two of us would remember where we’ve been and what we’ve seen, it’s a lot more fun to write when we can share these things with others. First, there were family members, then a growing number of relatives, friends and acquaintances, but nowadays also other sailors and travellers who share the same kind of experiences or are dreaming of their own adventures. Thank you to each and everyone! And an especially big thank you to all of you who have commented on our blog posts or sent us messages! It feels special.
We wish you warm waters and pretty sunsets if you’re one of the lucky ones out there sailing, and a beautiful but short winter if you’re not, so you can begin your next sailing season soon. A little tip: compass heading 180° is a great direction to start your adventure!
